From PEI National Park we cycled biked about 20 km to Manja’s aunt & uncle’s (Bill & Francina) cottage, they invited us to stay the night. To get there, we called to get directions when we figured we were getting close. Francina said to just head down the road, take a left and she would walk down to meet us. We discovered later she did not realize we were on bicycles, so she was waiting for some time at the end of their long driveway before we met her.
We visited and I helped out with a garage/shed they were building. We visited a “secret beach” that not many know about. Some other Dutch folks retiring in the area joined us. One picked feathers for his art projects (he paints on them). Saw some cranberries (not quite ripe). They have their own “yacht club” with their boats (canoes, paddle boats, dingy’s), with meeting minutes from their first meeting. That night the aftermath of a hurricane passed by, so it was nice to be inside.
