February 15, 2016 Westerdale – Cycling Day Trip

I took a break from visiting family at the inlaws’ dairy farm and discovered an interesting side road nearby, heading down the slope of the Dogpound Creek valley. Along the road I found a sunny log seat out of the wind in a grove of Trembling Aspens — perfect for a snack break and relaxing brain recharge.

I pushed through this quad trail, made along a portion of undeveloped road allowance.

Little did I know that nearly everyone visiting the farm that day, including me, would come down with a 24 hour flu after returning home!
